70 My “ORE” is O・R・E!

７０　俺のオレがＯ・ＲＥ！

 

 

 

The day I finally acquired my long-desired new home.

念願の新居を手に入れたその日。

Even for someone like me, who loves dungeons and battles, I couldn’t bring myself to head to the dungeon today.

ダンジョン大好き戦闘大好きなこの俺も、今日ばかりはダンジョンに向かう気になれなかった。

指輪がまだ一つもドロップしてないんじゃないかって？

Ha, who cares. I decided to relax at home today! No matter what anyone says, I made up my mind!!

はっ、知ったことか。今日はこの家でのんびりすると俺は決めたのだ！　誰がなんと言おうと決めたのだ！！

 

After receiving a complete tour of the finished building from Roberto, we sent him off and started leisurely exploring the house again. Sera and the others were also checking out the terrace and admiring the flowerbeds in the garden filled with colorful flowers.

一通りロベルトさんに完成した建物の説明を受けた俺たちは、彼を見送ったのち、再び家の中をのんびりと見て回っていた。セラたちもテラスに出てみたり、庭を歩きながら色とりどりの花が植えられた花壇を眺めたりしている。

“My long-awaited my bed… it’s so fluffy.”

「念願のマイベッド……ふかふかだぁ」

 

I was lying on the bed in my room, which is about 10 tatami mats in size.

１０畳ほどの自室で、ベッドの上に寝転がっていた。

 

The bed in the doghouse of the royal capital was probably top-notch too, but that place felt more like an inn since Sera had said she stayed there before.

王都の犬小屋ハウスにあったベッドも最高級品なのだろうけど、あの場所はセラが昔泊まったことがあると言っていたし、俺の感覚としては旅館とかに近い感じだった。

 

However, this house is different—it’s my new home! No one has slept in this room yet! Though the house belongs to the party, this room is mine!

しかしその点この家は違う――新居だ！　まだ誰もこの部屋で寝泊りしていない！　家はパーティのものだが、この部屋は俺のモンだっ！

 

In the room, there were paintings and odd sculptures that I didn’t remember ordering, creating a fantastic atmosphere. I don’t know if Roberto picked them, but his taste is excellent.

部屋には頼んだ覚えのない絵画やよくわからないオブジェなどの調度品も飾られており、雰囲気としては最高。ロベルトさんが選んだのかは知らないけど、センス抜群だな。

 

As I propped myself up from the bed and gazed out the window, the door creaked open.

ベッドから身体を起こし、窓から見える景色を眺めていると、ガチャリと扉が開いた。

 

“There you are, SR. Have you seen the bathroom yet?”

「ここにいたのかエスアール。風呂場はもう見たか？」

 

Appearing with a cheerful expression was Sera.

楽しげな表情を浮かべながら現れたのはセラ。

While talking to me, she was looking around my room, nodding thoughtfully. She’s probably confirming the differences from her room. I think they’re almost the same, though.

彼女は俺に話しかけながらも、ふむふむと観察するように俺の部屋を見渡している。きっと自分の部屋との差異を確かめているのだろう。ほとんど一緒だと思うけどな。

 

“I was shown it first by Roberto.”

「ロベルトさんに案内してもらって一番に見にいったぞ」

 

“Hehe, you had a lot of enthusiasm for the bathroom, didn’t you?”

「ふふ、風呂に関しての要望は凄い熱意だったからな、貴方は」

 

“Well, yeah.”

「まぁな」

 

In this world, baths are generally made of metal or stone, and wooden ones are rare.

この世界の風呂は金属や石で作られたものが一般的であり、木製のものはほとんど無いらしい。

This house has an outdoor bath facing the garden, separate from the indoor one (of course, it has privacy screens). The outdoor bath is stone-tiled, while the indoor one is wood.

この家には室内にある風呂とは別に、庭に面した露天風呂がある（もちろん目隠しはしてある）。それぞれ露天風呂のほうは石張り、室内のほうは木製だ。

 

“Alright! Let’s have a housewarming party today! We’ll go shopping later with Reinas.”

「――よし！　今日は新築祝いのパーティでもするか！　あとでレーナスに買い出しに行こうぜ」

 

“That sounds good. I’ll invite Phenon and the others too.”

「それはいいな。フェノンたちにも声を掛けてこよう」

 

“Thanks!”

「頼んだ！」

 

Sera nodded in agreement and briskly left the room. Her light steps indicated she also looked forward to the party. She’s probably planning to drink some alcohol, huh? Well, it is a celebration, so she can drink as much as she likes.

セラは俺の言葉に「うむ」と頷くと、部屋から颯爽と出ていった。足取りの軽さから、彼女もパーティを楽しみにしていることが窺える。さては酒を飲む気だな？　まぁ、お祝いだからじゃんじゃん飲んでいいんだけどさ。

 

“Even if Sera gets completely drunk, it’s inside the house today, so I won’t have to carry her back home like last time, which is an improvement.”

「セラが泥酔したとしても今日は家の中だし、前みたいに実家まで運ばなくていいからその分マシだな」

 

I smiled wryly, recalling the time Sera was completely out of it.

苦笑しながら、俺は以前フラフラになっていたセラを思い出す。

 

I hope it doesn’t turn into a hassle…

面倒なことにならなければいいが――。

「ふぅ……気持ちいいら～エスらぁるぅ」

 

In front of me, in the bath was Sera, who wasn’t even wrapped in a bath towel. Slurring her words, she was seeking my agreement.

湯船に浸かる俺の目の前には、バスタオルを巻いてすらいないセラ。彼女は呂律の回っていない言葉で、俺に同意を求めてくる。

そうだね気持ちいいね極楽だね――なんて言うわけないだろ！

 

“Why are you getting in here!? Get out, you fool! This is ridiculous!”

「なんでお前が入ってくんの！？　早く出ろバカ！　おかしいだろ！」

 

“There are no monsters left~. It’s up to the Sword Saint~.”

「魔物はもういないのら～。剣聖に任せるのら～」

 

“Our conversation is completely out of sync…”

「会話がまったく噛み合わん……」

 

She was miming sword moves while saying “shushu,” and let me tell you, things were jiggling a lot.

彼女は「シュシュシュ」などと言いながら、剣を振る動作をしていた。何がとは言わないが、凄く揺れている。

For some reason, I, being a guy, found myself shrinking and desperately trying to hide my body.

なぜか男である俺のほうが小さく縮こまって、身体を必死に隠している始末だ。

Could you not go wild in the bath? The splashes are hitting my face.

というか風呂で暴れんなや。波しぶきが顔にかかるんだが。

 

 

Today, as I planned, the housewarming party was held.

本日、俺の立案どおり新築祝いのパーティが行われた。

Sera drank heavily, flowing alcohol into her stomach just like during the B-rank dungeon celebration. I told her to drink in moderation, but considering it was “inside the house,” I didn’t press the issue too hard.

セラはＢランクダンジョン踏破祝いの時のように、お酒をガバガバと胃に流し込む。ほどほどにな――と声を掛けたものの『家の中だし問題ないか』という思いもあって、あまりしつこくは言わなかった。

 

Phenon enjoyed the party with some juice just like I did, while Shilly kept Sera company with drinks. However, she only turned red in the face, showing little change from her usual self—she was just a bit more talkative.

フェノンは俺と同じくジュースでパーティを楽しみ、シリーはセラに付き合ってお酒を飲んでいた。ただ、彼女は顔が赤くなるだけで、普段とあまり変化はない。やや饒舌になったぐらいだ。

 

Ignoring Sera, who was face down on the table with her nose puffed up, the three of us took care of the party cleanup. Sera had worked hard to prepare, and no one complained.

テーブルにうつ伏せて鼻ちょうちんを膨らませるセラを放置して、３人でパーティの後片付け。セラは準備を頑張ってくれていたし、誰からも文句は出なかった。

After that, while Phenon and Shilly went to take a bath, I carried Sera to her room and laid her down on the bed. I only half-threw her, by the way.

その後、フェノンとシリーが風呂に入っている間に、俺はセラを彼女の部屋に運び込み、ベッドに寝かせる。半ば放り投げたのはここだけの話。

 

Phenon and Shilly, looking very sleepy after their baths, talked with me in the living room for a bit before heading back to their rooms.

風呂上がりのフェノンとシリーはとても眠たげで、リビングで俺と少し話をすると自室へと戻っていった。

Phenon tried to take me to her room, but of course, I declined. There’s an order to things, Princess.

フェノンに部屋へ連れていかれそうになったが、もちろんお断り。物事には順序というものがあるのですよ王女様。

 

Goodnight—after saying goodbye to the two of them, I planned to enjoy the bath alone, but then intoxicated Sera invaded. And that brings us to the current situation.

おやすみ――そう二人に挨拶してから、俺は一人で風呂を満喫――という予定だったのが、酔っ払ったセラが乱入。そして現在に至るというわけだ。

 

 

“I’d better not sober up quickly—ideally, she should stay drunk like this.”

「とりあえず酔いをさま――さないほうがいいな。どうかこのまま酔っ払っていてくれ」

 

It would probably be better if we both forgot the fact that we entered the bath together without clothes. For both our sakes.

すっぽんぽんで俺と風呂に入ったという事実は、無かったことにしたほうが幸せだろう。お互いに。

 

As I tried to avoid looking at her skin, I moved through the bath towards the direction of the changing room. However, anything that came into my view was unavoidable, so I saved it in my mental “treasures” folder. What an unfortunate accident.

なるべく彼女の肌を見ないようにしながら、風呂の中をスイスイと移動して、脱衣所がある方角へと向かう。だがしかし、視界に入ってしまったモノはどうしようもないので、脳内『お宝』フォルダに保存しておいた。これは不幸な事故である。

 

On another note, I currently possess no towel.

話は変わるが、現在の俺はタオルを所持していない。

 

Meaning I have nothing to hide my body. Right now, my defense is incredibly low, to the point that I would want even a single leaf. No matter how confident I am in my evasion skills, I’ve never trained to dodge eyes.

つまり隠すものが何もないのだ。葉っぱ一枚を欲するほどに今の俺は防御力が低い。いくら回避能力に自信があるとはいえ、視線から逃れるような特訓はしたことがないからなぁ。

 

To ensure that nothing is seen, I need to jump out of the bath and race toward the door leading to the changing room in an instant. Speed is key. I’ll switch to the class with the highest AGI from the menu.

何も見られないようにするためには、一瞬で風呂から上がって、素早く脱衣所へと繋がる扉まで駆け抜ける必要がある。瞬発力が命だ。メニュー画面からＡＧＩの一番高い職業に変更する。

息を大きく吸い込んで、ゆっくりと吐き出す。

 

I steeled myself and, placing my hands on the edge, lifted my body from the bath all at once—only to be stopped by Sera, who had clung to me in my natural state.

俺は意を決して、縁に手をついてから一気に風呂場から身体を持ち上げた――が、

 

“That’s my ring~.”

「これは私の指輪ら～」

 

That movement was blocked by Sera, who embraced me in her natural form.

その動きは生まれたままの姿で抱きついてきたセラによって阻まれてしまった。

 

Are you saying she can keep up with my AGI――!?

俺のＡＧＩについてくるだと――！？

 

The elasticity of my rear collided with the marshmallow softness of Sera. Her hands slid down just below my belly button, and if I forcibly lifted my body, I’d be in a situation where my “ORE” would be exposed! Thus, I couldn’t move.

俺の尻の弾力と、セラの持つマシュマロの弾力がぶつかり合う。彼女の手は俺のヘソのすぐ下に回されており、このまま無理に身体を引き上げてしまえば、俺のオレがＯ・ＲＥ！　な状態に陥ってしまう。ゆえに、動けない。

 

The tension equaled that of facing off against the Demon King. Every motion could alter my fate. Sweat dripped from my chin onto the back of my hands. This life-or-death situation—what a thrill (confusion).

覇王ベノムとの対決に引けを取らないほどの緊張感。一挙一動が俺の運命を左右する状況。顎から滴り落ちた汗が、手の甲に落ちてくる。この死と隣り合わせの状況――たまんねぇな（混乱）。

 

“Someone… help me…”

「誰か……助けて……」

 

Suppressing my urge to cry, I murmured. However, there was no sign of help coming.

泣きたくなる気持ちを抑えながら、俺は呟く。しかし、助けがくる様子は微塵もない。

Only the sound of droplets hitting the ceiling was the entirety of this space’s noise.

ピチャン――と天井から落ちてきた水滴の音だけが、この空間の音の全てだった。

 

 

After a few minutes of battle between my backside and the marshmallow, the beautiful maid Shilly, who had probably been searching for us, appeared in her pajamas from the changing room.

数分の間、お尻ＶＳマシュマロの対決が繰り広げられた後、俺たちを探していたであろう美人メイドシリーがパジャマ姿で脱衣所から現れた。

In other words, right in front of me. Half my body was out of the bath, facing her.

つまり、俺の正面。身体半分を湯船から出した、俺の正面だ。

For a while, every time I made eye contact with Shilly, her face would flush red.
